Auctions currently allow you to sell livestock through a broker.
Here’s how it works:
Step 1: You sell a specific animal to the broker at a fixed price.
Step 2: The broker then puts the livestock up for auction, where other players can bid against each other.
Step 3: If the broker successfully sells the animal, you will receive the fixed price you agreed upon.
Step 4: If the broker is unable to sell the animal, it will remain in your herd, and you will not receive payment.
💡 Tip: Choose animals carefully for auction...
NOTE: Currently, there is only this auction option available - Dutch Auction is coming soon.

What’s the point of the auction or even breeding animals. You charge to breed them then turn around and only give say 30k when it sells even if it sells for 2m at auction. Seems like it should be 30k to the broker and the auction price the player gets. Other than that it’s pointless to even mess with livestock
With the cost to breed these animals in game why not give the auction price to the breeder. The current system really makes breeding animals a worthless endeavor. I really want to like this game but you all are making it hard.
When does the Dutch auction open?
I was genuinely so excited to get into livestock and now it seems like a ton of money absolutely wasted. Why can't it be like the crop brokers where they take a percentage of the actual sale price? Or you know… like a real auction where auctioneers take a percentage?
When does the Dutch auction start? It's getting late.
